Sal Acosta

Sal has over thirty years of business and financial experience, both as a small business entrepreneur and as a corporate executive for well-known global corporations. Sal knows first-hand the challenges of running a small enterprise because he has owned both an independent small business and a local service outlet for a national franchise. 
 
His corporate background includes roles as General Manager, Finance Manager, Engineer, and Director of Operations for world-class organizations like General Electric, Hewlett-Packard, Motorola, and ABB. As an entrepreneur he has successfully started, bought, grown, and sold small businesses. As a corporate executive he has been involved with multi-million dollar sub-contracts, mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.
 
Finally, Sal has shared his knowledge and experience with young professionals by teaching Managerial Accounting, Personal Finance, and Auditing at Belmont College.
 
Sal has an Electrical Engineering degree from MIT and an MBA from Tulane University. In addition, he has traveled extensively for both business and pleasure and is bilingual in English and Spanish.

Jenny Nunez

Jenny Nunez is an energetic and experienced professional. As Sales Manager at Landon and Acosta, LLC, she is responsible for business development and customer service at various nationally recognized companies serving a diverse client base within different industries.

Her professional background includes roles as Sales and Marketing Assistant at the Sheraton Hotel and Convention Center, Customer Service Representative at Gateway Health, Client Experience at Direct Energy Business, and Financial Representative at Western & Southern Life Insurance Company. Through these professional opportunities, she has developed technical expertise in the areas of insurance, financial investments, and medical processes and terminology. In addition, Jenny is perfectly bilingual in English and Spanish, and has used these skills to make significant inroads into the fast-growing Hispanic market. 

Jenny has a Bachelor of Science in English/Spanish Translation and Interpretation from Latina University in Panama. In addition, she is licensed to sell life and health insurance. 

When she is not working, Jenny uses her free time to play the saxophone and travel extensively, including visiting friends and family in Panama.

Rafi Amjad

Rafi is a young professional with a background in entrepreneurship. As a Deal Manager at Landon and Acosta, he specializes in managing deal flow, business valuations, and corporate strategy. Because of his strong business acumen, Rafi has been involved previously with building entrepreneurial ecosystems internationally. 

Rafi holds a Masters in Entrepreneurship from the University of Florida and the Credential of Readiness Certificate from Harvard Business School. With a strong interest in buying and selling companies, he now provides exceptional services to the clients of Landon and Acosta. In addition, before joining Landon and Acosta he was part of several business deals. 

When Rafi is not working, he is busy exploring opportunities to learn different skillsets and acquire knowledge about a multitude of industries. For him, hours of learning just start with a simple Google search.

Phyllis Sell

Phyllis is a seasoned executive with many years of experience in business and finance, including roles as a successful small business owner and entrepreneur. In addition, she has also held professional and leadership roles in the financial services and marketing industries. Phyllis knows the challenges and difficulties of running a small business because she owned a retail candy store for more than twenty years. 

Her corporate background includes leading multiple sales teams to outperform sales goals and exceed quotas. To facilitate this, she has developed an extensive technical expertise in credit card processing for small and mid-sized businesses. Most importantly, she prides herself in providing the best possible products and services to her clients, using this as an opportunity to reduce costs, build trust, and establish long-term business relationships

Phyllis graduated from Saint Vincent College, where she studied both Business Administration and Small Business Development. She enjoys outdoor activities, including rowing and walking for fitness.
